ABOUT DAVIES LEGACY

Family business continuity planner, Len Davies, assists farmers throughout Ontario and the Maritimes in completing their business continuity plans.

After growing up on a dairy farm Len studied agriculture at the University of Guelph. Upon graduating Len worked in several related fields.  He was employed by a feed company and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs as a Research Analyst in cost of production studies. Len was also employed by Agricorp as a Field Operations Manager for many years.  Len has three adult children, and currently resides in Muirkirk, Ontario with his wife, Mary.

In 2003, after an early retirement, Len founded Davies Legacy Planning Group Inc.  Since that time over 600 clients have been assisted through their easy 8-step continuity planning process. By focusing on Family, Management and Ownership the Davies Legacy Planning Group’s 8-step plan addresses all aspects of business continuity.  Numerous professionals join Len in the planning process.  Family Facilitators, Lenders, Accountants, and Lawyers are all included in providing the best advice and service in business continuity planning.

Len is a firm believer in lifelong learning which has earned him numerous designations. Most recently, Len graduated from the Institute of Family Enterprise at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. Len is also a founding member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors in Ontario as well as a long-time member of Farm Management Canada.
